Road Trip!

Last weekend we went to Alki we took a nice long walk during sunset and snapped some pictures that we had to share. We swear they don't do it justice but when do they ever. This we celebrated J's 23rd birthday! Woohoo! Unfortunately both of us worked that day so we had to come up with a better way to celebrate. We used what little time we had to stop by a raw juice bar truck that we have been dying to try. We treated ourselves to delicious açaí bowls and they were everything we imagined and more. And adorable. We also had a celebration dinner too, but we felt like it wasn't enough!

We decided that we would take a mini road trip! Since we are from Seattle we decided to check out Long Beach, Washington. It's a few hours away and in our state and we have never been so it was a no brainer for us. We both are in desperate need of a getaway, but for now we will settle for a weekend away from everything. It will be so nice to not have work or responsibilities this weekend. We hope to post a few pics to our instagram account, make sure to follow us for updates (username:lovefandj).

There are a few things that we read about Long Beach that have us really excited and we booked a hotel right on the beach with an ocean view. We hope the weather turns out because we want to take a bike ride down the longest beach in the world. We also want to try and make it out to Cape Disappointment because we have seen photos and it look gorgeous.
